完美的作品，给观众留下的是广袤的想象和解读的空间。若是单纯从宗教或者政治解读，则不可避免的进入死胡同。优秀的作品，经得起多角度的解读，这大概也是导演的意图吧。审慎晦涩的借题发挥，不显山露水，是经历过高压的俄罗斯创作者特有的气质。从最直白的视角，父亲是军人般命令的强硬形象，如山，严厉伴随着对于不顺从的责罚。对于不谙父爱的孩子来说，难以理解也过于严苛。而故事的最后，孩子一夜间成长为男子汉，如父亲般雷厉风行，发号施令。摄影是景深的完美示范。配乐完美，开篇的低音轰鸣奠定了低沉灰暗的基调。
